Building Community Through Accountability and Action
Clongriffin has grown, but our promised facilities and amenities have not kept pace. Too many words, too many assurances, and yet essential community spaces remain unbuilt.
It’s time for a different approach:
One that puts action before promises.
We ask the LDA to deliver the facilities needed by the community in addition with much needed homes. Additional homes without facilities outlined below, is not acceptable.
The community deserves better:
It's time to deliver for Clongriffin!

Clongriffin is one of Dublin’s fastest growing urban communities, located in Dublin 13 and only a short DART journey from the city centre. What began as an ambitious development is now a residential town with modern homes, essential facilities and a strong sense of community. At the heart of Clongriffin is a spacious central plaza, home to a small selection of shops but it is waiting for it's potential to be fulfilled.
The development of Clongriffin was planned with open spaces, walkable streets and sustainable living in mind. There are parks, cycle paths and green areas that make it easy to enjoy the outdoors. Just minutes away are Portmarnock Beach and the Baldoyle Bay Nature Reserve, offering fresh sea air and scenic views. Families are supported with local schools, childcare options and safe play spaces.
Looking ahead, the next stages of Clongriffin’s growth will depend on strong partnerships between the Land Development Agency (LDA) and Dublin County Council. Their role in delivering new shops, services, leisure facilities and further housing will be essential to ensuring the town reaches its potential. These future development phases will play a vital part in creating a thriving, well-connected community.
While Clongriffin is still in the process of building up its amenities, the foundations for a vibrant town are in place. Excellent transport links, coastal beauty and a carefully designed layout already make it a desirable location. With the planned investment and development from the Land Development Agency and Dublin County Council, Clongriffin has the opportunity to grow into one of Dublin’s most complete and balanced urban communities.
